Strong equity returns in 2021 slowed down by inflation, which is here to stayHow much did pension savers earn on average?In this report, we aim to provide pension comparisons on every front possible. The aggregate summaryreturn tables compare the annual average rates of returns between occupational/collective (Pillar II)pension schemes and between voluntary/individual ones (Pillar III) on 5 periods: 1, 3, 7, 10 years. Thesestandardised periods eliminate inception and market timing biases, allowing to ”œpurely” compareperformances between different pension schemes. For information purposes, we also show the averagereturn since data is available (last column).
